What makes us pioneers ?
Our mission is to help men and women have children by offering excellent medical services and personalized attention. To do so, we utilize state-of-the-art methods for assisted fertilization and employ an exceptional multidisciplinary team of professionals led by Dr. Polak de Fried. Thanks to the advances made at the institute, CER has been a pioneer not only within Argentina but internationally as well. Some of our milestones include:
1987
- First births using PROST, TET and MESA procedures in Argentina.
- First to cryopreserve embryos in Argentina.
1992
- First baby born in Argentina from a donated embryo.
1997
- First pregnancy and birth from frozen oocytes in the world (simultaneously with Italy and the United States).
- First Bank of Oocyte Cryopreservation in the western hemisphere.
1999
- First in the world to use baby aspirin for in vitro fertilization.
2002
- First ovary tissue transplant in Argentina.
2005
- First to achieve the formation of partenogenetic blastocysts from frozen oocytes.
